Excellent fast and friendly service completed within an hour at a reasonable price. I looked everywhere to find a repair centre for my ps3 console, in the end, all I had to do was Google it.

My Playstation 3 wouldn't read any of my discs, so I started to look at the Sony repair scheme. After finding out it would take up to 6 weeks shipping and £110 to fix a relatively simple problem, I went to Console Mechanic. I rang them up, and received a very friendly response from the manager, who assured me that the problem was easily fixable, would only take a few hours, and only cost £79.99. Best of all, because I lived locally, I could just drive there and pick it up when I was done. Within an hour or so, I got back the console in just 1 hour, after it had been fixed AND tested by the staff. To this date my ps3 has been working fine, and it should also be worth noting that they also gave me a 6 month warranty in case the problem repeated itself. All in all, it was truly outstanding service, and the speed at which they repaired my ps3 must be particularly commended. I would certainly recommend it to everyone!

Total life savers, same day console repair while i waited. Needed the laser replaced on my PS3 and took advantage of the drop off service, had it back the same day working perfectly. Didn't even have to move. Great service, and very reasonably priced too.

I found this company from an internet search. They repaired my Playstation 3 console quickly and professionally. They new exactly what they were doing and didn't charge the earth. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Playstation would not turn on, get a green light for a second, then yellow, then flashing red. Emailed these guys and got a quote. Sent the ps3 via courier tuesday afternoon, had an email/telephone call weds saying it had been fixed, ps3 arrivse safely home on thursday in full working condition. Brilliant service and highly recomended.

Great Service! Thanks for sorting out my faulty PS3 console. A really fast and professional service. It is nice to deal with an experienced electronic engineer that knows what he is doing. Very happy with service and turnaround time of repair to my playstation 3 console. Had blu ray replacement with 6 months warranty! left console with Console Mechanic, popped into Bromsgrove for a bit of shopping 30min later job done.

Console Mechanic is highly recommended to anyone with a PS3 problem. Picture the scene, early Saturday morning and the man of the house wants to play on Oblivion for another hour, and oh no!! all the lights are flashing and the PS3 dies and the disk is stuck in the console, (couldn't think of a worse disaster!!). There are no smiles only moans and groans! After an internet search and a phone call to Console Mechanic we are all sat in the car on our way to PS3 A & E. Met by Peter the PS3 doc who assured us all would be well within a couple of hours. We left the precious PS3 in his capable hands and in no time at all (1 hour 30 mins) it was nursed back to health and we received the call to say we could take the mended console home. What a relief! The PS3 is now as good as new. The man of the house is now smiling. Many thanks to Peter who is very friendly and provides an excellent repair service at an excellent price.

Cheers Peter, a friendly welcoming service, fast and efficient repair to a 18 month old PS3. Gotta be the cheapest and fastest service there is out there being 7 days a week its gotta be truly the ultimate repair and service outfit there is. Well worth the drive over there, especially the Sainsburys breakfast around the corner, although they weren't as fast a Console Mechanic when it came to service. I had my own PS3 console with YLOD, a mate with RROD on his Xbox 360, and finally a mate who was getting an error number with his PS3 and no blu ray drive being recognised. WOW just got my PS3 back after havin a YLOD problem now running like its brand spanking new took less than 5 days to get there and back and for £59.99 Can not say enough good things about Console Mechanic when i phoned them up they were more than helpful explaining what i had to do,and the service and after service is excellent Guys keep up the good work ill be recommending you to any friend in the future that have any problems, thanks again for all your help.

My Kid's 40Gb PS3 stuttered and died, looking on the net I assumed Blu-Ray drive and rang Sony for a replacement. Sony told me they wont supply drive only, and wanted to charge £131 for a rehashed machine with 3 months warranty. Rang Pete, he told me it was the GPU not BR and he'd sort it for £60. I live in Kidderminster, dropped the unit off at 2pm on a saturday, he had it ready by 4. We went out as a family had a couple of hours at the Neville Arms came back, picked up the unit and back to normal. Can't fault the repair and extra marks for doing it at a time to suit us! Thanks for the prompt service Pete, and I'll be back again if I ever need to have another repair to a console.
